Once nicknamed “Shy Guy” by our staff, this sweet and mellow fellow has broken through his shell and into our hearts! Crosby came to us after his owner and lifelong friend passed away, and was naturally terrified to be in a strange and scary place. Slowly but surely, Crosby began to show us glimpses of his true personality (and we loved it!). While he still holds on to some of the fear he had when he first arrived, Crosby has continued to make incredible strides. He is a kind and affectionate pup with an appetite for fun.
Crosby has greatly enjoyed the company of some canine companions, but does prefer hanging out on the sidelines and not engaging in rough play. He would do best with a respectful canine companion that will match his energy level.

This gorgeous and loveable brindle pup will just melt your heart when you meet her. Mattie is so sweet; if she isn’t right by your side asking for pets she is curled up in her bed taking a puppy nap. She is very well mannered and knows a variety of tricks and is happy to show them especially if she gets a yummy snack for it. Don’t mistake her kindness as weakness, however, because this girl knows just how to get everything she wants!

Mattie has had many canine friends, but would prefer to live as your only furry companion. She is all you’ll need!

This short king is one in a million! Nova is the best of both worlds; he is smart and independent, yet goofy and loving. Nova can be nervous meeting new people, but give him some time and he will surely become your closest companion. Nova would do best in an active home that exercises both his mind and his body.

Nova has excelled in play groups, and has done very well with dogs of all shapes and sizes.

This sweet girl is pushing into her senior years, but you would never be able to tell. Pepper is as spunky and playful as she was in her puppy-hood. If you are looking for an older and established companion that still has that “Pep” in her step, then look no further! Pepper enjoys shady summer days and sitting on laps, as well as walks on the beach and pup-sicles to keep cool.

While Pepper would not like to live with any other animals, she may enjoy a canine walking companion if introduced properly.

Marvelous Miss Maybelline is going to leave you speechless with her amazing personality and stunning looks. One glance at Maybelline’s shiny black hair and pretty doe eyes and you’re going to ask yourself, “maybe she’s born with it?”. 

Maybelline is a 45 pound, Pitbull mix, 2 year old girl that is a puppy at heart. She has so much love and excitement for the world around her and she is very easy to please. Maybelline is a brilliant young girl, and the best home for her would continue to enrich her brain and body. She will do just about anything for a yummy snack, and her signature move is “sit pretty/beg”! She is still working on her manners, and would be best suited for a home that has the time and dedication to her. While she has a hilarious zoom and a very athletic jump, she does need a family that will help her with her impulse control. Maybelline is a very fast learner and wants the chance to be your best friend; a job that we know she will excel at!

Don’t let first impressions stick, because this young man is worth getting to know. When first meeting a new face Merlot can be nervous and defensive, but after a few meetings (and some delicious bribery) he will blossom into a truly fantastic companion. A true pup of taste, Merlot enjoys giving spa treatments to his favorite humans; his current most requested services are his kiss facials, muddy-paw massages, and “corn-cob” exfoliating treatments. The best part is that he charges in kibble and cuddles!

Merlot is hoping to find an adult-only home that will nurture him and continue his training.

Introductions to other dogs should be taken slowly.

This zesty girl is ready to sweeten up your life. Cupcake is a spunky, fun-loving, and affectionate young dog. She came to us as a very young puppy with four other siblings in tow. She is not currently known to be housebroken but is a very quick learner. Cupcake is so smart, incredibly food-motivated, and eager to please.

This petite pup frequently enjoys the company of other dogs, and would do well in a home where she can be the boss. Her favorite friends are those that are larger than her and share a similar play style.

Avril is here to rock your world! This pop punk princess came to us as a stray, rocking her signature pink spiked collar. Once a shy stray that was brought to our facility, she has since opened herself up to us and shown us just how much of a rockstar she is! 

Avril is estimated to be 2 years young, and has a spunky yet sweet personality. She is always up for an adventure and will even sing for you when she gets excited! Once she breaks past her initial timidness, she is an incredibly affectionate dog and gives excellent hugs. She will surely be an amazing companion to her future forever family.

Because she is still working on her manners, we recommend children that are 12 years or older and a family that will continue to encourage and reward good behavior with new people. 

Avril may be compatible with other dogs. She has no known history with cats, and any introductions should be taken slowly and with care.

This sweet girl is looking for a comfy bed to snooze her day away. Most of the time she is found curled up and relaxed, snoozing the day away. Mari is deaf and needs some special attention, but will be a lifelong friend when given time and commitment. Mari can be nervous with new people, but with some delicious treats and kindness she will quickly show you how wonderful she is.

Mari enjoys the company of canine companions, but her new family should take the time to introduce her to other dogs slowly and properly.
