Scott C. Moffat, DVM
Dr. Scott Moffat is the owner and president of Kittery Animal Hospital Inc. he has owned the practice and lived right here in Kittery since 1988. Dr. Moffat graduated from Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1985 after getting his Master of Science in Zoology at the University of Connecticut. After graduation he moved to Maine and started his family of 3 children, a wife, a barn full of horses, goats, chickens, ducks, cats, and too many dogs to count. After all that is what happens when you run the local shelter for the 3 surrounding towns and love all animals! Dr. Moffat is passionate about his family, his practice, and his community.
David Candito, DVM
Dr. Candito worked for Kittery Animal Hospital many years ago as a Technicians Assistant, after leaving us he went off to school to become a Veterinarian. We are very pleased and proud to have him back again as a permanent Associate Veterinarian. Dr. Candito graduated from Colorado State University in 2011 after getting his Master of Science in Bio-medical Science at Colorado State University. Dr. Candito has worked in hospitals in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Maine and has decided to settle down here in Maine to make his home with his wife and 4 legged family.
Richard Duckett, DVM
Dr. Duckett and his wife recently moved to NH from Massachusetts. Dr. Duckett graduated from James Madison University School of Science in Harrisonburg VA where he received a BA in Psychology and BS in Biology in 1979. He then went on to get his Masters in Biology in 1983. He later attended Tufts University, School of Veterinary Medicine in N. Grafton MA where he Graduated DVM in 1998. We are very happy to have him join our Hospital family.
